Nutrition Information

The well-loved, red powdered vitamin and mineral supplement, supplying 25 essential vitamins and minerals to your horse, alongside extra Linseed for added shine. Benevit® has been a feed room favourite for many years.

Vitamins and minerals are sometimes referred to as micronutrients due to the small amounts that are required in the diet although this does not reflect their importance. Vitamins and minerals are vital for normal function of the body and they play important roles in the body's physiological and metabolic processes, for example in the production of energy and the construction of healthy tissue. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies in the diet will alter bodily functions and eventually lead to disease; however, it is not always possible to determine from looking at your horse or pony whether or not they are receiving adequate micronutrients therefore feeding a dietary supply is recommended.
