I have used Steady Up on my last two ponies and it has really helped with their behaviour. I have always had chestnut mares and it is true they can be very moody so the Steady Up seems to help with this. It seems to keep them calm at certain times.

My horse became quite fiesty once she gained weight, to the stage where I thought I wouldn't manage her. I looked for a solution on the Feedmark page and bought the Steady Up additive. I noticed a slight change in the first week and then in the second week of adding the recommended amount the change was significant. I have been using steady up for a while now, and it has made a fundamental difference to his way of going. He doesn't have less energy but we are able to channel it in the right way. He also has been a little bit inwardly stress which has made him stools loose, but this has been a game changer and they have returned to normal now. I would highly recommend it!

Have used steady up for all of my "hot" horses. My current mare is matriarch of the herd and she finds it difficult not to be "on watch" for 24 hours a day. Steady up relaxes her and allows her time to doze and let down her guard. It definately benefits her well being.

My daughter’s cob mare started to show signs of stress when going out competing by having what I describe as stress or worry poo’s before travelling. Has helped my anxious mare, I was worried at first as magnesium based calmers can make her worse, however not steady up, she is much calmer and less anxious, I use alongside hormonease and they both seem to help her cope with being an anxious on high alert arab x mare. She is definitely more chilled and able to cope with things rather than over reacting. Especially at this time of year (spring) with seasons and grass etc.

My mare can be a bit stressy, especially as her friend was away for a while. 2 weeks of this and she was calmer and happier without feeling sedated. Love it and keeping her on it. I tried my mare on this a few months ago, when the tub was near the end I decided that 2nd time around to try another brand to see what differences I could notice. Without actually noticing that the steady up had had an effect on her I soon noticed when putting her on the other brand that this one had no effect atall and she had gone back to being very anxious and stressy. I ordered another tub of Steady Up she's been back on it a couple of weeks and I've noticed a massive difference in her. I have tried virtually every calmer on the market and most work for a short time. I used steady up many years ago for my old girl with amazing results until the formula was updated and found she no longer needed the help of a calmer. I decided to try steady up again with my big lad and then decided to put my mums horse on it. Well what a transformation! He has always been petrified of Motorbikes and used to rear and bolt when we met one out hacking but he will now pass one with confidence and at 20 that is a minor miracle
