I am cautiously excited that my 11 year old 17'3 with shivers is showing signs of improvement since I have upped his dosage of Natural vitamin E to 5 scoops a day.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 02/10/2024 17:43
Good quality natural vit e supplement no added selenium so can be used to boost vit alongside a balancer without overdoing the selenium.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 26/09/2024 20:05
This Vit E has made an enormous difference to my EMS, IR, Cushings horse
Because of all his conditions/ ailments and on a nice edge of Laminitis for the last few years, he is unable to have any grass at all. He lives on a low sugar and starch hay and Allen and Page Care and Condition. He is so sound and well and happy now he is on Feedmark Vit E
Trusted Feefo Customer - 23/09/2024 19:57

Trusted Feefo Customer - 15/08/2024 08:34
Our horse has suffered from liver issues and our vet recommended adding vitamin E to her daily feed. A recent check and her liver function is more or less back to normal, so this is a regular supplement.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 09/08/2024 20:05
My horse eats it in his feed happily and it has helped support him as he is  restricted to the amount of grass he can have.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 02/08/2024 19:22

Since using the Natural Vitamin E supplement I have noticed a significant difference in how tight my horses muscles were, my physio has also commented on how soft her muscles now feel, highly recommend.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 23/07/2024 11:23
Highly palatable form of Vitamin E. My horse isn't fussy and will literally eat anything, but this powder has a nice smell for the fussy types. I am hoping this will help my boys overcome their current run of hoof canker and the Feedmark formula comes highly recommended in both Heavy Horse and Canker media groups. Fingers crossed.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 15/07/2024 20:48

I needed to supplement vitamin E in to my horses diet due to restricted grazing. The large tub makes it more economical compared to others on the market.
Trusted Feefo Customer - 02/07/2024 09:16

Nutrition Information

Vitamin E is an antioxidant which horses mainly derive from fresh forages and is therefore easily accessible for horses on pasture (Manthe & Youngs, 2013; Fagan et al., 2020). If your horse has limited or no access to fresh forages or you are unsure about the vitamin E levels in your horse’s diet, an additional vitamin E supplement can be added to make sure the daily vitamin E requirements of your horse are met. The natural form of vitamin E has multifunctional purposes in the horse’s body. The main function of vitamin E is to neutralise free radicals in the body and support the immune system (Fagan et al., 2020). In addition, vitamin E supports reproductive processes, cellular functions and muscle health due to the potential to decrease oxidative stress (Carr & Holcombe, 2009; Finno & Valberg, 2012; Fagan et al., 2020). Therefore, it is recommended to increase the daily vitamin E intake by supplementing Natural Vitamin E™ for horses that require liver and muscle support and horses performing heavy work. Due to the multifunctional nature of vitamin E it is also recommended to increase its daily intake to support broodmares and stallions during the breeding season and to support foals health and development (Contri et al., 2011).

The natural form of vitamin E, RRR-alpha-tocopherol acetate, is more bioavailable in comparison to synthetic vitamin E (Fiorellino et al., 2009), increasing its absorption and optimising its supportive function (Gagné et al., 2009). Natural Vitamin E™ is suitable for all horses but a higher dosage is especially recommended for horses that need liver and muscle support, horses performing heavy work and for all breeding stock (Finno & Valberg, 2012; Secombe & Lester, 2012).

Natural Vitamin E™ can be fed in combination with all other supplements from the Feedmark range to increase and optimise levels of vitamin E in the diet.

2,100iu of Vitamin E per 15g scoop

Active ingredient per daily serving (500kg horse):

  • 4,200iu of Vitamin E for muscle support
  • 2,100iu of Vitamin E for immune support and breeding stock
  • 1,540iu of Vitamin E for exercise and liver support

Why is Natural Vitamin E better than Synthetic sources?

Natural Vitamin E is more bioavailable to the horse and is therefore utilised quicker by the body.

Why does my horse need Natural Vitamin E?

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant and helps to neutralise free radicals which can damage cells within the body. Horses in hard work, those with immune or muscle issues, breeding stock and horses with restricted turnout will all benefit from additional Vitamin E in the diet.

Can I feed a higher amount of Natural Vitamin E than is suggested?

Vitamin E has no known toxicity level in horses, therefore it is safe to feed Vitamin E at higher levels when required.
